Bechard Family Farm
Newsletter Spring
2007

Hello
from Bechard Family Farm,
Are
you looking for healthy meats? We are a family farm dedicated to producing
the most nutritious & delicious foods and meats possible. We offer
pasture raised poultry and eggs; grass fed & finished beef; pasture raised
lamb, and farm fresh milk-fed pork.
This is our 8th year of
providing healthy & delicious meats to families like yours. To you,
our customers, we say, “Thank You” ! We look forward to another year of
serving you with high quality meats and eggs. Everything we sell is raised or made
by us right here on our farm.
Our beef and lamb are grass fed their entire lives. The chickens & turkeys live in floorless shelters that are moved to fresh grass every day. The shelters protect them from predators and inclement weather. The chickens & turkeys are fed our custom feed mix to insure that it contains no antibiotics or recycled animal proteins.
Here at Bechard Family Farm, the animals get lots of sunshine, grass, and fresh country air….not routine antibiotics. Our animals live peacefully on chemical-free pastures and never receive hormones, antibiotics, etc. Our meats are good for you and good for us!
Our family
butchers the chickens and turkeys here on our farm the morning of the “on farm”
pick up dates. You can pick up your order here at the farm later that
afternoon. On butcher day, we offer a special “butcher day only”
price. For your convenience, we also deliver fresh chickens to
This is the 5th year that our Springfield delivery has been at Mama Jean's Natural Market. Customers meet us in the parking lot at Mama Jean’s between 4-6 PM on the scheduled dates to pick up their chickens or turkeys. Please be sure to visit their store. They have a great store and they believe in supporting local farmers!
We also bring chickens with us to the Camdenton Farmers' Market. If market is closer to you, pre-order your chickens now and pick them up from Armand at market. They will be the delivered price.
Don’t miss our Award Winning Whole Wheat Bread, made with freshly ground wheat kernels. It has won 1st or 2nd place at the Ozark Empire Fair for 5 years in a row! One year, it even won “Grand Champion” of the entire yeast bread division. We grind the grain the morning the bread is made and never before. This guarantees you the freshest bread possible.
Do you need
jam for your bread? We make eleven flavors of homemade
jam! You can choose from
Applebutter, Blackberry, Blueberry, Gooseberry, Peach, Raspberry-Rhubarb, Red
Cherry, Red Raspberry, Rhubarb, Strawberry, & Strawberry-Rhubarb! They taste wonderful on a slice of
whole-wheat toast!
If you are
reading this, you know how important it is to put healthy foods into your body. It is equally as important to use
healthy products on your skin. Handcrafted lye-soaps are a gentle, natural alternative to
commercial skin care. We combine
skin-pampering blends of vegetable fats such as coconut, palm kernel, olive oil,
and shea butter with tallow to create a kind-to-your-skin, long-lasting soap with a generous lather! Each bar weighs a hefty 41/2
– 5 ounces. You won’t be
disappointed!
If you have
questions that are beyond the scope of this short newsletter, please feel free
to contact us by phone or visit our information-packed web site at www.bechardfarm.com .
If you are
looking for a healthy alternative to factory-farmed foods, look no further! Come meet YOUR FARMER and see how YOUR FOOD is
raised!
Sincerely, the Bechard
